Hi, I'm Lauren Leek. I'm a political economist and social data scientist specialising intext-as-data, applied causal inference, data visualisation, surveys, and machine learning.
I am passionate about bridging the gap between rigorous academic research and real-world impact. Through continuous learning and innovation, I strive to make data science more accessible, transparent, and impactful for society.
I completed my PhD at the European University Institute ()
University of Leiden, Department of Political Science.
When I'm not working, you will probably find me cycling, running, or looking for the best food.
